On the evening of March 13, Ms. Than Thi Thu Huyen, Executive Director of Hoi An Memory Island (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province) said that from March 16-18, a series of unique programs with the colors of Faifo port will take place, welcoming visitors to the "Hoi An Memory" event, entering its 6th year on the journey to bring Vietnamese culture to the world.
With the theme "From Hoi An to Hoi An Memories", a special street parade will be held from the Japanese Covered Bridge to Hoi An Memories Island, passing through the streets in Hoi An ancient town such as Bach Dang, Hoang Van Thu, Hoang Dieu...
"The parade is a colorful street art and cultural party that brings together more than 100 professional performers, wearing unique traditional costumes," said Ms. Huyen.
The street parade will take place from the Japanese Covered Bridge to Hoi An Memory Island, passing through the streets of Hoi An ancient town with a cultural and artistic "party".
Accordingly, dancers with dances bearing the unique identity of each country create a flow "from Hoi An to Hoi An Memories": Integration Dance with a strong Vietnamese lion dance troupe, Yosakoi Dance of Japanese smiles, and the graceful and delicate Chinese lantern dance.
Following the parade, the "Lantern Dance" will be performed at Hoi An Memory Island, honoring the colors, diversity and power of Asian culture in the splendid dance of professional actors. The actors will walk on colorful streets, symbolizing the brilliant 6-year journey of bringing Vietnamese culture to the world of "Hoi An Memory".
In particular, on the night of March 18, the 6th anniversary of the launch of "the most beautiful show in the world", brilliant fireworks will be lit up in the sky of Hoi An Memory Island, welcoming the new year with hopes for a new journey - the journey of "igniting" the love for Vietnamese culture in the hearts of tourists from all over the world.
