Congratulatory message on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party

During the glorious 70-year history, under the wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people have overcome countless difficulties and challenges, achieved great victories of historical significance in the cause of national liberation, national construction and defense, and the construction of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, maintaining political stability, consolidating national defense and security, economic growth, ensuring social order and safety, improving people's lives, and expanding foreign relations.

The great and comprehensive achievements of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party have profound significance for the cause of protecting and developing Laos, contributing significantly to enhancing the role and position of the Party and the Lao People's Democratic Republic in the region and on the international arena, and at the same time being a common joy and a source of great encouragement and motivation for the Party, State and people of Vietnam.

The Party, State and people of Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively support Laos's renovation and firmly believe that, following the tradition of previous generations and promoting the achievements, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people will continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the renovation, successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 9th Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan; especially successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 12th National Congress of the Party in early 2026; successfully building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous Laos according to socialist goals.

We are extremely pleased to see that, along with the important achievements that the two Parties, two countries and peoples have achieved in recent times, the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, founded and forged by the great President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong, and cultivated by generations of leaders of the two Parties, two countries and peoples, has now become a loyal and unique relationship in the world, a priceless common asset of the two peoples, increasingly consolidated, practically and effectively developed, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.

On this important and historic occasion, we once again express our deep gratitude for the great, valuable, wholehearted, righteous and effective support and assistance that the Lao Party, State and people have given to the Party, State and people of Vietnam and will do our utmost together with the Lao Party, State and people to forever preserve and continuously foster the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos to increasingly develop to new heights, for the benefit of the people of each country, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

May the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples of Vietnam and Laos be forever green and everlasting.
