The Group's leaders and specialized departments inspected the production site of tunnel digging and underground coal mining at Thong Nhat Coal Mine.

In 2024, the Group's average underground coal revenue will reach VND 20.5 million/person/month; 7 workers will have an income of over VND 700 million/year, nearly 11,600 miners will have an income of over VND 300 million/year, accounting for 47% of the total number of miners, an increase of 8% compared to 2023.

The Group has increased investment, controlled occupational safety and hygiene, improved working conditions, and implemented welfare regimes specific to the coal industry. Specifically, Vinacomin has performed 450 lung washings per year at a cost of VND22.5 billion; organized tours for workers, oriented the construction of underground workers' housing; and implemented well the in-kind compensation regime, shift meal regime, and quantitative meal regime.

In 2025, Vinacomin will continue to implement many synchronous solutions to improve working conditions, to increase the labor safety coefficient, and increase average labor productivity by 5-6% compared to 2024; at the same time, continue to care for the material and spiritual life of workers, especially in terms of housing.

The Group strives for an average salary of over 18 million VND/month, an increase of 3.1% compared to the plan, and over 90% of employees can go on tours and vacations.
