According to the assessment of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee, after 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW of the Politburo, there has been an important change in the awareness and action of cadres, party members and people of the city towards the task of building a national defense. The City Military Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of the work of grasping and assessing the situation, proactively researching, forecasting and advising on defense strategies, always closely combining socio-economic development with ensuring defense and security. The City Military Party Committee is always strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, the overall quality and combat strength of the city's armed forces have been improved.
