On June 17, according to information from Hanoi City Police, Tay Ho District Police have just issued a decision to fine Mr. NVS (in Tay Ho District) 7.5 million VND for the act of "Sharing fabricated information causing panic among the people".

Previously, following the direction of the Hanoi City Police Department, Tay Ho District Police deployed to grasp the situation on cyberspace and discovered that Mr. S.'s Facebook account had comments with untrue content about the incident that occurred at the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province in the early morning of June 11.

Based on the collected documents, Tay Ho District Police invited Mr. S. to the headquarters for questioning.

At the police station, Mr. S. admitted his violations and pledged not to speak or comment on unverified matters or provide false information.
