Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy attended the ceremony. Also attending were leaders of the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village and nearly 200 delegates including village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and prestigious people from the Vietnamese ethnic community.
At the solemn and emotional ceremony, delegates listened to President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation.

Delegation of village elders, heads of committees, artisans, prestigious people, and ethnic people from all over the country offered incense to pay tribute to the great President Ho Chi Minh.
Representing the village elders, village chiefs, artisans, and prestigious people reporting their achievements to Uncle Ho, village elder Ho Van Hanh (Ta Oi ethnic group, Thua Thien Hue province) expressed his emotion: “The Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day is an opportunity for ethnic groups to gather together at the “Common House”, the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village. This is a very meaningful occasion for us ethnic groups to meet, exchange, and spread the unique and distinctive cultural values of our community in the big family of Vietnamese ethnic groups. From there, we will achieve the goal of preserving, maintaining, and promoting traditional cultural values, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc to build and develop an increasingly prosperous country”.
According to village elder Ho Van Hanh, with the attention of the Party, State, ministries and branches, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has become the most special village in Vietnam. Every year, thousands of ethnic people from all over the country come here to participate in activities.
People of all ethnic groups also expressed their infinite gratitude and deep respect for Him - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. He united all classes of people and all ethnic groups towards the common goal of national independence, freedom and happiness.
Throughout our lives studying and following Uncle Ho's example, we have always tried to explore, research, collect and preserve our nation's culture, promote our core role, encourage our children and grandchildren to strive to excel in their studies, contribute to improving the understanding and intellectual level of the people; mobilize and pass on to our children and compatriots the preservation of the nation's precious cultural treasures.
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, the Vietnamese people of all ethnic groups vowed to wholeheartedly follow the Party and Uncle Ho, promoting the spirit of solidarity, love, and mutual support; promoting the role of cultural subjects, making efforts, being exemplary, and being key in local movements, keeping the fire burning in villages, and uniting the community.
Continue to research, collect, preserve, promote and pass on to future generations, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity. We will not forget Uncle Ho's teachings: "Solidarity, mutual love, mutual assistance, work, study and sacrifice for the Fatherland".

After the ceremony to report to Uncle Ho, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace and watch touching films about the moments when Uncle Ho passed away.
