The exhibition is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975) and towards the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955). The highlight of the exhibition is the display of 200 valuable documents, images and maps, collected from many different sources, including documents from the 19th century to the present.

For the first time, many documents about Hoang Sa in the Vietnam National Archives have been published, including Chau Ban documents, Nguyen Dynasty woodblocks, and Hoang Sa images from the 1930s.
In particular, 50 press photos taken by members of the Hanoi Photojournalist Club since 2009 are also on display, vividly depicting the lives and missions of soldiers and civilians on the Truong Sa archipelago.
Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4, emphasized: "This is an exhibition of special importance, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 are looking forward to and welcoming this event." The exhibition helps officers and soldiers understand more deeply the history and significance of the Great Spring Victory of 1975, as well as the 70-year journey of protecting the sea and islands of the Vietnam Navy.
The exhibition took place on March 17 and 18, attracting the participation of many cadres, soldiers, people, students and pupils.
