Reporting at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy said that in the first 9 months of the year, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Committee and the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, the Government Inspectorate Party Committee continued to innovate the content and methods of leadership; promptly added members of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee; strengthened coordination with the Party Executive Committee and the Government Inspectorate leadership to focus on leading, directing and implementing the goals and tasks right from the beginning of 2024.
Right from the beginning of the year, the Party Committee and its subordinate committees have always paid attention to doing a good job of leading political and ideological tasks for Party members, promptly handling arising ideological issues so that all Party members in the Party Committee can work with peace of mind, proactively and actively carry out their work.
Regarding the work of Party building, the Party Committee has developed a Work Program and directed the Party Committees and subordinate Party cells to develop a Work Program in accordance with the Party Committee's Work Program; and organized effective implementation right from the first months of the year. The Party Committee and subordinate Party Committees continue to do a good job in training and recruiting Party members; focusing on improving the quality of Party members.
Pursuant to Instruction No. 07-HD/ĐUK dated March 29, 2024 of the Party Committee of the Bloc, the Party Committee has issued a document implementing the Instruction on authority, responsibility, process of appraisal, examination, verification, and conclusion of political standards for cadres and party members, directing strict, synchronous implementation, in accordance with procedures and regulations in concluding political standards for personnel planned, introduced to participate in the Party Committee, rotated, transferred, appointed, and reappointed in accordance with regulations.
The Party Committee coordinates with the Party Executive Committee to strengthen leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels to continue to disseminate, thoroughly understand and implement directives, resolutions, decisions, conclusions of the Central Committee, and documents of higher levels related to mass mobilization work, etc.
The Party Committee and the Party Committee's Standing Committee pay attention to leading, directing and creating conditions for the Trade Union, Youth Union, Veterans Association, and socio-political organizations to operate in accordance with their principles and purposes, promote their roles and responsibilities in performing their assigned functions and tasks, introduce outstanding union members to the Party organization; organize well emulation activities and movements, contribute to the successful completion of political tasks and towards the 80th anniversary of the Inspectorate's tradition.
At the conference, the opinions participating in the discussion basically agreed with the preliminary report on the Party's work in the first 9 months of the year. At the same time, they shared about the role of the Party Committee in professional activities on inspection, handling complaints and denunciations; and organized thematic activities according to plan.
Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions discussed at the conference. At the same time, he acknowledged the results of Party work in the recent past, reflected in highlights such as the implementation of political tasks and Party building work.
Regarding the direction of tasks in the coming time, the Party Secretary and the Government Inspector General requested to focus on striving to better perform a number of key tasks. Inspection work, citizen reception, handling of complaints and denunciations, anti-corruption and other professional tasks continue to be focused on implementation according to the approved 2024 program and plan; closely follow and effectively implement the Party's policies, the State's laws, resolutions and directions of the Central Steering Committee, the Government and the Prime Minister. In particular, continue to implement solutions and drastic actions to speed up the progress and improve the quality of inspection conclusions in accordance with the provisions of law, thoroughly overcome the situation of slow issuance of inspection conclusions.
Synchronously deploy tasks on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement; continue to implement Resolution 623 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement.
Implement well the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in accordance with the direction of the Central Steering Committee; continue to verify assets and income in 2023 and 2024 according to the Plan.
The Party Secretary requested that we focus on political and ideological work, building a spirit of solidarity, unity and consensus within Party cells, Party committees, agencies and units, in conjunction with the implementation of political and professional tasks. At the same time, we must continue to strengthen internal political protection work, the management of Party members, especially Party members participating in Inspection Teams, and promote and improve the effectiveness of the Party's inspection and supervision work.
