At the meeting, Chief of the Government Inspectorate Office Pham Hung reported on the situation before, during and after Tet of the Government Inspectorate.
Specifically, the Government Inspectorate's leaders paid special attention to the coordination of mobilizing citizens to return to their localities before Tet, directing the Central Citizen Reception Committee (CCTC) to proactively coordinate closely with functional units of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police, and Ha Dong District Police to compile a list of citizens currently residing in Hanoi and send a document to the locality requesting the dispatch of a Working Group to coordinate with the Central Citizen Reception Headquarters to receive, propagate, mobilize and bring citizens back to their localities. For citizens still residing in Hanoi, the CCTCTC has coordinated with functional units to mobilize and persuade citizens to comply with the law; not to go to protected target areas; and the city center area.
As of 12:00 on February 2, 2025 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the Central Steering Committee for Repatriation has mobilized 146 citizens from 29 provinces and centrally-run cities to return to their localities; of which, 103 citizens from 24 localities signed to receive transportation support money and committed to return to their localities and not stay in Hanoi.
Regarding the situation of citizens' complaints during the Lunar New Year, according to statistics, as of 10:00 a.m. on February 2, 2025 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), in Hanoi there were 27 citizens from 14 localities, including no large groups; only at the Citizen Reception Office in Ho Chi Minh City, there were no citizens staying during the Lunar New Year 2025...
Implementing Plan No. 01/KH-TTCP on organizing the celebration of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the Department of Personnel and Organization, the Central Committee for Personnel and Organization, the Office and the Departments, Bureaus and units carry out specific tasks to carefully organize the Tet duty, Tet celebration, visits and New Year greetings to cadres, civil servants, public employees under the policy, former leaders and retired civil servants.

Speaking at the meeting, Inspector General Doan Hong Phong congratulated all officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Government Inspectorate for a new year filled with joy, good health, happiness and success. At the same time, he emphasized some outstanding results of the Inspectorate in 2024 and proposed to implement some tasks for the new year.
In particular, the Government Inspector General requested that the inspection work must closely follow the direction of the 2025 inspection program and the requirements and directions of the Steering Committee, the Government, the Prime Minister as well as the actual situation to ensure appropriate and effective implementation of tasks. Focus on inspecting sensitive areas, areas of public concern, areas prone to corruption, waste, and negativity; increase publicity and transparency in inspection activities, ensure strictness, objectivity, legality and feasibility; strictly implement Regulation No. 131 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in inspection activities.
Strengthen post-inspection handling, strictly implement handling recommendations through inspection; at the same time, focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing inspection conclusions according to the Prime Minister's plan on implementing Conclusion No. 77 of the Politburo, in order to unlock resources for socio-economic development.
Continue to effectively carry out the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations according to the provisions of law; promptly and promptly handle complaints and denunciations related to personnel of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th Party Congress; review and thoroughly resolve outstanding, complicated and prolonged cases, and prevent the emergence of hot spots of complaints and denunciations.
Regarding the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, proactively implement the Program and work plan of the Steering Committee; tasks assigned by the Government, the Prime Minister, and heads of administrative agencies at all levels; improve the effectiveness of solutions to prevent corruption, waste, and negativity; strengthen the detection and handling of corruption and negativity. When detecting a case with signs of crime, promptly transfer it to the investigation agency.
Implement the project on organization arrangement and streamlining according to the plan approved by the competent authority, ensuring continuity and uninterrupted work and after arrangement, it must operate more effectively and efficiently; continue to build and improve the quality of the staff to match the tasks in the new situation; strengthen control of power in inspection activities, tighten discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics.
The leaders and heads of units must be exemplary and the core of solidarity of the unit. Each unit and individual must clearly define their functions, tasks and working relationships. Correctly, sufficiently and qualitatively implement the internal activities and study topics. Pay attention to the management, inspection and evaluation of cadres, especially the management of delegations and working groups in ministries, branches and localities. Implement well the publicity, transparency and democracy; inspection culture, office culture and the working regulations of the agency in the activities of the agency and unit. Continue to improve the material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of the agency.
