According to the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, the organization of this tournament aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's establishment (2004 - 2024), besides introducing achievements and potential for socio-economic development, it is an opportunity to promote and stimulate tourism of Dak Nong to friends across the country.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with provincial departments, branches and relevant units to organize the tournament.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong province, this paragliding competition will have more than 100 athletes from 10 paragliding clubs across the country participating and competing.
Notably, the paragliding competition will be held at Ta Dung tourist area (Dak Som commune, Dak Glong district). This area is considered as a "miniature Ha Long Bay" of Dak Nong province. The competition will be held from April 7 to 9.
Ta Dung, or Dong Nai 3 Hydroelectric Reservoir, is an artificial lake located in Ta Dung National Park, with a water surface area of up to 3,632 hectares, surrounded by 47 large and small islands... Here, each year is divided into 2 distinct seasons. The rainy season is from May to October, the dry season starts from November to April of the following year. Depending on the purpose of your trip, you can arrange your time to go at any time of the year.
