Support vocational training schools
Vocational students in Dak Nong when studying at intermediate and college levels are entitled to 1 of 3 policies.
Firstly, the exemption and reduction policy according to the provisions of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021; Decree No. 97/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government.

Second, boarding policy for college and intermediate students according to Decision No. 53/2015/QD-TTg dated October 20, 2015 of the Prime Minister.
Third, Dak Nong province's policy supports vocational training at intermediate and college levels in the province according to Resolution No. 12/2021/NQ-HDND.
Over the years, Dak Nong Community College has implemented these three policies. The implemented policies have become the driving force, helping students to excel in their studies, have a career and build a solid life for the future.

Student Pham Thi Thao Nguyen is from Dak Ha commune, a commune in the poor district of Dak Glong. Currently, Thao is studying in the K23 Veterinary Intermediate Class of Dak Nong Community College. In the past 2 school years, she has been approved by the school to enjoy state policies such as tuition exemption, dormitory accommodation and a monthly support of 1,440,000 VND.
Thao shared that when she was still in high school, her teachers gave her career guidance. She found that Veterinary Medicine was very suitable for her, the needs of society and had high development opportunities.
Studying this major has many job opportunities such as being a veterinarian, opening a pharmacy or working in quarantine farms. Therefore, after finishing high school, I studied veterinary medicine at Dak Nong Community College. During my studies, I received support in many aspects.
Student Lang Van Vinh, Thai ethnic, in Nam Xuan commune, Krong No district, is also in his third year of Industrial Electricity class K23, Dak Nong Community College.
Vinh said he really enjoyed studying Electricity. Because businesses always need skilled workers and electrical technicians. "During my studies, I received support from many aspects of the State's policies," Vinh said.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ha, Vice Principal of Dak Nong Community College, the school has implemented policies very well to ensure compliance with regulations on spending levels and beneficiaries of policies.
The policies effectively implemented the Project "Career education and orientation of student streaming in general education for the period 2018-2025 and Decision 1094 of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee on streaming in the locality".

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ha informed that in the future, to continue to improve the effectiveness of these policies, the school will expand its links with large enterprises, invest in modern training equipment and update its curriculum to suit the development trends of the labor market.
Apprentices benefit
The support policies of the Party and the State are deeply humane, creating conditions for students nationwide in general, and students in Dak Nong in particular, to have the opportunity to study and receive vocational training. Dak Nong has been implementing 3 major policies.
Firstly, the exemption and reduction policy as stipulated in Decree No. 81 and Decree No. 97 of the Government stipulates that subjects exempted from tuition fees are secondary school graduates who continue to study at intermediate level, and ethnic minority students from poor and near-poor households.

The subjects receiving a 70% reduction in tuition fees are mainly students studying heavy and hazardous majors, students from ethnic minorities in areas with particularly difficult economic conditions, and communes in Region III of ethnic and mountainous areas.
Implementing Decree No. 81, from 2021 to September 2024, Dak Nong has 5,045 students receiving financial support of VND 29,413. Of which, in the past 3 school years, Dak Nong Community College has implemented a tuition exemption policy for 2,071 students.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the school is completing the tuition exemption application for newly enrolled students of the K24 course.

Second, implementing the boarding policy for college and intermediate students according to Decision No. 53 of the Prime Minister, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Nong said that from 2021 to July 2024, Dak Nong Community College has 1,344 students enjoying the boarding policy with a budget of VND 9,360 million.
Third, Dak Nong province's policy supports vocational training at intermediate and college levels in the province according to Resolution No. 12/2021/NQ-HDND.
Applicable subjects: Students with permanent residence in the province studying full-time (including joint training) at public vocational education institutions in Dak Nong.
Beneficiaries under the provisions of the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions; people with disabilities; ethnic minorities; people from poor households, near-poor households... are supported with tuition fees and meals depending on the subject.
From 2021 to September 2024, Dak Nong will support vocational training at intermediate and college levels according to Resolution No. 12 for 573 people, with a total cost of over 2.1 billion VND.
Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Nong
Mr. Hoang Viet Nam, Deputy Director of Dak Nong Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said: In the period of 2015-2020, through the results of reviewing the funding sources for support for the groups of subjects applied according to regulations, it shows that the support sources from the Central Government and local resources have been utilized.

Policies create conditions for students to overcome difficulties, have opportunities for vocational training, find jobs, create jobs for themselves, contribute to sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in the province.
Support workers with permanent residence in Dak Nong, working under a 36-month labor contract or an indefinite-term labor contract at enterprises in the area.

Thanks to vocational training support policies, the quality of human resources in Dak Nong has made significant progress. Students can study with peace of mind.
The proportion of workers with intermediate and college degrees has increased, contributing to creating a workforce with professional skills to meet labor market needs.

These efforts will create a sustainable foundation, helping Dak Nong develop high-quality human resources, thereby promoting the province's sustainable development and deep integration.
