On the afternoon of March 19, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Mr. Vu Thanh Luu, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, had a working session with the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee on coordinating the implementation of activities within the framework of the program "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love" in May 2025.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the plan to coordinate the organization of a series of activities at the central level under the "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love" scheduled to take place on May 5 and 6, 2025 in Dak Lak province. This is a special activity to celebrate the International Red Cross Day on May 8 and towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

The series of activities is expected to include many practical humanitarian activities such as medical examination and treatment, free medicine distribution for people in disadvantaged areas; visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances in Buon Ma Thuot City; marching in response to the campaign " Millions of Kind Steps - Continuing the Golden History "; and other community support activities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that he would create all favorable conditions for the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to effectively implement activities in the province, and at the same time direct relevant agencies and units to closely coordinate in the organization work.
Dak Lak province will continue to coordinate with the Central Committees of the Association to implement charity programs, select people with difficult circumstances in the area, arrange human resources to join in spreading the message of the Movement "Good people, good deeds - Joining hands to build a compassionate community"; spread the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of solidarity and humanity of the nation, mobilize and mobilize resources to build a Humanitarian and Charity Fund to care for people with especially difficult circumstances in the province.
It is recommended that the Department and branches continue to coordinate with the Provincial Red Cross Society to develop a Plan to organize activities for the Humanitarian Month in 2025, prepare conditions to organize activities to ensure effectiveness and create spread in the community.

According to the leader of the Dak Lak Provincial Red Cross Society, the program will have about 500 delegates participating, including: Delegates representing the Central Committee of the Society and the Central Committees and units of the Vietnam Red Cross Society; Emulation Clusters No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 (Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, Phu Yen, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Quang Nam, Da Nang City, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai).
The program of activities on May 5, 2025, in Buon Ma Thuot city, will organize the launching ceremony of Humanitarian Month, visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers/Former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances in Buon Ma Thuot city; Organize medical examination, treatment, health consultation and provide free medicine and give gifts to 700 people; Visit Buon Ma Thuot Prison, Dak Lak Museum.
In Krong Pac district, there will be a program to respond to the launching ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2025; Organize Humanitarian Market booths; Start construction of the Red Cross House; Organize medical examination, health consultation, and provide free medicine for 500 people. Present water tanks to 200 ethnic minority households.
On May 6, 2025, in Krong Nang district, there will be a program to respond to the launching ceremony of Humanitarian Month; Organize a medical examination and health consultation program for 500 people; Organize blood donation, mobilize registration for tissue, organ and body part donation; Start construction of a boarding kitchen at Ea Ho Primary School, Ea Ho commune; Start construction of the Red Cross House.
Activities in response to Humanitarian Month 2025 were organized solemnly, safely, economically, effectively, practically to help vulnerable groups and create strong communication effects.
