On April 20, in Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House held a ceremony to introduce the book series "Vo Nguyen Giap - The People's General" edited by Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House.

At the launching ceremony of the book series "Vo Nguyen Giap - The People's General", Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam said that the book is published in Vietnamese and bilingual in 5 languages: Vietnamese - English, Vietnamese - French, Vietnamese - Spanish, Vietnamese - Chinese, Vietnamese - Arabic to contribute to meeting the needs of domestic and foreign readers to learn and research about the life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
This is a valuable publication, a work that has both scientific and historical value and attracts readers through valuable, authentic documents and images, vividly depicting the simple yet noble portrait of the General; recreating and highlighting typical events and important turning points in the General's life and revolutionary career.
Mr. Vu Trong Lam said that during his recent business trip to Latin America, people from many countries mentioned President Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap, but the book materials were not abundant. The book series was introduced to readers on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory - an immortal heroic epic associated with the name and stature of General Vo Nguyen Giap, as a deep gratitude for his exceptionally outstanding contributions and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
