In the context of the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the security situation in Israel has seen some new escalating factors with Iran, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has issued a warning to the community. The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel also provides direct contacts and citizen protection hotlines in the area for the community to contact in case of emergency, need support or need information about citizen protection options.

The warning comes as international media and governments have expressed concern about the risk of tensions escalating into direct conflict between Israel and Iran following the attack on the Iranian embassy complex in Syria on April 1.

Accordingly, many countries have advised their people not to travel to Israel and Iran, and warned citizens residing in these two countries to limit travel and take all precautions to ensure safety.

In addition, the Israel National Emergency Portal has also issued safety instructions to citizens from 6:00 p.m. on April 11, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on April 14, 2024.
