Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in Ba Thuoc district

On the morning of June 7, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including delegates: Nguyen Tuan Tuong, Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Khanh Huyen, owner of a farm in Chum village, Thiet Ong commune, Ba Thuoc district, had a meeting with voters of Ba Thuoc district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Council Delegation announced the expected content and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported a summary of the socio-economic, national defense and security situation of the province in the first 5 months of the year, solutions to implement key tasks in the last months of 2024; reported the results of handling voters' recommendations sent to the sessions of the Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Ba Thuoc district expressed excitement at the province's socio-economic development in the first months of 2024; at the same time, they reflected issues of public concern.

Voters of Dien Thuong commune requested that Song Chu Irrigation Company soon have a plan to build two new canals, East and West, of Mai Dien dam to ensure enough water for irrigation.

Propose funding support for the construction of Thiet Giang bridge across Ma river from National Highway 217 to Thiet Giang village, Thiet Ong commune to eliminate the ferry. Currently, more than 30 students have to go to school every day on this ferry with high risk of traffic safety.

Voters of Dien Quang commune made recommendations at the meeting.

Voters of Dien Quang commune proposed to build 9 cultural houses for the villages. Pay attention to and implement policies and regimes for non-professional cadres at the commune and village levels. Have policies to supplement the position of the Party Committee office to ensure the operation of the Commune Party Committee. In the coming time, we hope that superiors will continue to pay attention to supporting capital sources according to Resolution 184 so that the commune can have conditions to harden rural roads.

Voters of Ha Trung commune made recommendations at the meeting.

Voters of Ha Trung commune proposed to widen the culvert on provincial road 523B at km 11 of Ha Trung primary school because the stream is big but the culvert is small, so when it rains heavily, water overflows into the school. Voters of Luong Trung commune proposed to support the construction of Mot Doi bridge connecting provincial road 523B from Luong Trung commune to Cam Thanh commune (Cam Thuy) to eliminate the need for ferries...

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of voters, delegate Nguyen Tuan Tuong accepted and explained the issues within his authority. The delegation accepted, summarized and reported other suggestions and recommendations of voters to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and resolution.
