(NLDO) – Some companies listed the price of SJC gold bars at a new record, reaching 93.5 million VND/tael as world prices recovered.

At the end of March 11, the price of SJC gold bars continued to fluctuate and there was a difference between businesses.

SJC, PNJ, DOJI listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 91 million VND/tael and the selling price at 93 million VND/tael, an increase of 400,000 VND/tael compared to the morning. Notably, some other businesses pushed the price of gold bars to increase dramatically.

Mi Hong Company raised the buying price of SJC gold bars to 92.5 million VND/tael and the selling price to 93.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND/tael compared to the morning. This is also a record high for gold bars in recent times, far surpassing the mark of 93.1 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of its brand's Thang Long Dragon Gold bars at 91.9 million VND/tael for buying and 93.4 million VND/tael for selling.

Not only gold bars of other brands, plain gold rings also jumped, surpassing SJC gold bars. SJC Company sold plain gold rings for 93 million VND; PNJ Company sold for 93.4 million VND while the price of gold rings at Mi Hong was up to 93.5 million VND/tael.

Gold prices jumped and there was a gap between brands in the context of world prices recovering. The domestic gold market also witnessed a new record peak of SJC gold bars and gold rings.

In the international market, after a steep decline, the gold price "turned around" and increased strongly again, leaving far behind the 2,900 USD/ounce zone, reaching 2,914 USD/ounce, an increase of more than 20 USD/ounce compared to the morning.

Gold prices rose as the USD index continued to fall around 103.5 points at the end of today (down 0.37% from the previous session).

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 90.2 million VND/tael.
