On the morning of November 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province coordinated with the Mass Mobilization Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee to organize the Workshop "Mass Mobilization and Front work to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc in the new period".
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hung Yen Tran Quoc Toan attended and directed the Workshop. Also attending were the Committee Standing Committee member, Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Quach Thi Huong; Provincial Party Committee member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen Province Nguyen Bat Khanh; representative of the Military Command of Hung Yen Province; Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Hung Yen Province; representative of leaders of Party committees and authorities of Hung Yen Province; experts and scientists.
Speaking at the workshop, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Yen province Tran Quoc Toan said: In the context of the international and domestic situation having many rapid, complicated, unpredictable changes, beyond the ability to forecast. Right from the beginning of the term, the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee have focused on leading, directing, developing programs, projects, directives, and resolutions; resolutely and highly focused on overcoming difficulties, focusing on the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; increasing investment attraction, promoting public investment and accelerating socio-economic development; leading and directing the resolution of 6 major challenges in the development process of Hung Yen province.
Up to now, after 4 years of implementation, 19/19 groups of indicators on socio-economics, Party building, political system and environmental protection have achieved very positive results. In the period of 2021 - 2024, the budget revenue reached 141,306 billion VND, of which in 2024 it is estimated to reach 39,446 billion VND. In mobilizing people to participate in building advanced new rural areas (NTM), model NTM, up to now, Hung Yen province has 139 communes meeting NTM standards; 102 communes meeting advanced NTM standards; 36 communes, 153 residential areas meeting model NTM standards, Van Giang district meeting advanced NTM standards; the poverty rate has decreased to 0.66%.
Standing Deputy Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Toan affirmed that the work of Mass Mobilization and the Fatherland Front has been well implemented, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province, thereby creating consensus, solidarity and joining hands to participate in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, order and safety, and social security in the province.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee hopes that at this scientific conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will receive many enthusiastic, intellectual and responsible contributions from leaders of Party committees, authorities, delegates, experts and scientists on difficulties, limitations, lessons learned, and at the same time propose new viewpoints and solutions to solve new problems arising in the current period in the work of Mass Mobilization and the Front, in order to continue to affirm the position and role of Mass Mobilization and the Front in promoting the strength of the Great National Unity in the new era - the era of striving for prosperous development of the nation, thereby helping the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee supplement viewpoints and solutions in leadership and direction; propose specific tasks and solutions on Mass Mobilization and the Front in the draft Summary Report on Party building and the political system, term 2020 - 2025; Political report presented to the 20th Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
In his report at the Workshop, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, Nguyen Bat Khanh, affirmed: Mass mobilization work and Front work are tasks of strategic significance in the Party's revolutionary cause, contributing to consolidating the flesh-and-blood relationship between the Party and the People, building the great national unity bloc, and mobilizing the People to participate in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
In recent times, the activities of the Mass Mobilization and the Fatherland Front in Hung Yen province have achieved outstanding results, contributing to the overall achievements of the province in implementing political tasks, socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security, and ensuring social security.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province suggested that delegates focus on discussing and exchanging experiences; clarifying the current situation, difficulties, obstacles and proposing solutions to continue promoting the role of mass mobilization work and the Front work in promoting the strength of the Great National Unity bloc in the province in the current period.
Here, 28 topics of discussion from representatives of Party committees and authorities of Hung Yen province, experts and scientists contributed significantly to the success of the Conference.
