Announcement of Decision to appoint Director of Department of Finance

On the morning of March 10, 2025, the Department of Finance held a conference to announce the Decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Finance. Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and delivered a speech assigning tasks. Attending the conference were leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of comrade Le Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: implementing Resolution No. 18 dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee; Thanh Hoa province has resolutely and quickly developed and submitted to the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council for consideration and approval of the Project on rearranging specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and establishing new units on the basis of merging units. At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee has considered, decided to select and assign comrade Le Quang Hung to hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance. This is an honor for comrade Le Quang Hung, and at the same time, a particularly important responsibility that the Provincial Party Committee has trusted and assigned.

He affirmed: The Department of Finance is a specialized agency under the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in State management of: planning, planning and development investment; finance; State budget; fees, charges and other revenues of the State budget; public assets; extra-budgetary State financial funds; financial investment; corporate finance; accounting; independent auditing; price sector and financial service activities in the locality according to the provisions of law.

He noted that in his new position, Comrade Le Quang Hung needs to continue to promote his experience, capacity and courage, quickly integrate and grasp the situation of the industry; quickly take over the work, together with the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Finance, unite, join hands, be unanimous, closely and resolutely lead and direct to advise the Provincial People's Committee to promptly and effectively implement the fields of work according to the functions and tasks of the Finance sector.

For the Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Finance, it is necessary to continue to maintain solidarity, unity, join hands, and promote intelligence and support comrade Le Quang Hung to effectively lead and direct the implementation of the industry's political tasks.
