On the morning of January 14, confirming with VietNamNet reporter, the leader of Thien Huong Commune People's Committee (Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong) said that the 4-year-old child who was taken away from Thien Huong Kindergarten on the afternoon of January 13 has not yet been found.

Currently, the local police force has identified the woman who took the child away and her initial motive. The police determined that this woman entered a kindergarten to 'kidnap' the child in Hai Phong.

According to this leader, the subject is not a relative of the child. However, this person looks like the child's aunt, so the teacher had difficulty distinguishing. The child's mother is busy and often asks someone to pick up the child, so when this person came to pick up the child, the teacher thought it was the aunt. After that, the subject took the child to the playground and took a taxi to leave Thuy Nguyen City.

According to the leader of Thien Huong Commune People's Committee, this person is in Hai Phong City and the police have determined their location. However, the family and authorities have not been able to reach the child.

Speaking to VietNamNet reporter, the child's mother, Ms. NTH (residing in Thuy Nguyen City, Hai Phong) confirmed: Her 4-year-old daughter, studying at Thien Huong Kindergarten (in Thien Huong Ward, Thuy Nguyen City), was taken away by a stranger at around 4:00 p.m. on January 13. Ms. H. reported to Thien Huong Ward Police about her child's kidnapping. Along with reporting to the police, Ms. H. posted a photo of her child on social media and asked people to let her know if they saw her.
