(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of February 28, the Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the Provincial Police Department on the organization and personnel work. Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of district, town and city Party Committees.
At the ceremony, the Department of Personnel Organization, Provincial Police announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on dissolving the District Police and the decision to organize the apparatus of Quang Binh Provincial Police; the decisions of the Director of Provincial Police on transferring 7 comrades who are Heads of District, Town and City Police to work and hold the positions of Heads of Provincial Police Departments; the decision to transfer 47 comrades who are Heads and Deputy Heads of District Police; Heads and Deputy Heads of Professional Departments to work and hold the positions of Deputy Heads of Departments according to the requirements of staff arrangement and work requirements; the decision to transfer 137 team-level commanders and 717 cadres who do not hold positions to work at professional departments and commune-level police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong acknowledged and highly appreciated the great contributions of the police force in the past time. Despite many difficulties and challenges in working conditions, the provincial police force has promoted the spirit of solidarity and innovation, firmly ensuring security and order, contributing to creating a stable environment for local socio-economic development.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that in the coming time, the collective leadership, command, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, overcome difficulties, maintain discipline and order; the commanders and officers who are mobilized and assigned new responsibilities need to promote their capacity and strengths, maintain political will, uphold responsibility, and strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the assignment of tasks to officers and police in the entire provincial police force, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized: The reorganization of the provincial police apparatus from 3 levels to 2 levels, without organizing district-level police, is a revolution, demonstrating the strong political determination and exemplary leading role of the police force in concretizing the Party and State's policy on reorganizing the political system apparatus, building an increasingly lean, compact, strong, effective, efficient, synchronous and consistent people's police force.
