Important contributions in industrial zones
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province, there are currently 9 industrial parks in Bac Giang province approved by the Prime Minister for investment, with a total planned land area of nearly 2,240 hectares, of which 70.2% of the industrial land area has been filled with investment. The total number of valid projects is 505, including 390 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and 115 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects.
Total registered investment capital is 10.83 billion USD and 21,940 billion VND. Realized investment capital is estimated at about 7.82 billion USD and about 12,172 billion VND. Employing more than 191,000 workers. Industrial parks that have come into operation have all been invested in synchronous technical infrastructure, ensuring to serve the operations of enterprises according to regulations.
Enterprises in the industrial park have made great contributions to the socio-economic development of Bac Giang province. In the first 9 months of 2024, Bac Giang province's GRDP economic growth increased by about 13.89%, the highest in the country. Of which, industry - construction increased by about 18.03%; services increased by about 6.19%; agriculture, forestry and fishery decreased by about 2.19%, product tax increased by about 12.89%.
The industrial production index (IIP) in the first 9 months of 2024 increased by 27.69% over the same period. The actual industrial production value reached VND 499,048 billion, up 28.5% over the same period, reaching 75.0% of the annual plan. Of which, the state-owned enterprise sector reached VND 8,178 billion, equal to 99.35% of the same period; reaching 66.1% of the plan; the non-state enterprise sector reached VND 52,636 billion, up 18.7% (reaching 42% of the plan); the foreign-invested economic sector reached VND 438,233 billion, up 30.5% (reaching 83.0% of the plan). Bac Giang province strives to complete the development plan targets for 2024 and the economic growth rate in the year reaches 14% or more.

Mr. Dao Xuan Cuong, Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province, said that the above results were achieved thanks to the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Bac Giang province in industrial development and the participation of all levels and sectors in always listening to the opinions of enterprises and promptly removing difficulties and obstacles.
In order to promptly resolve and remove difficulties and obstacles in industrial parks, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province has established a Working Group to implement industrial parks in the period of 2022 - 2025, headed by Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Phan The Tuan. At the same time, a Working Group was established to assist the Working Group, which includes directors and heads of departments, branches and sectors of the province.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province also established a Working Group to guide and support the process of establishing and implementing approved investment projects in industrial parks.

According to the Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province, for large investment projects such as the project of Fulian Precision Technology Co., Ltd., the project of Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd.... The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province has advised the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to issue a plan to support investors in carrying out administrative procedures.
In particular, each department and sector is assigned to take the lead in supporting investors, other related sectors coordinate in implementation, with specific completion time for each content such as procedures for granting investment registration certificates, procedures for granting construction permits, environmental procedures, fire prevention and fighting, etc.
In addition, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province also regularly reviews new legal regulations and unnecessary administrative procedure contents, promptly advising competent authorities to decide on amendments and replacements if any.
Implement administrative procedures publicly and transparently, always thoroughly instructing officials and civil servants to strictly comply with regulations in performing assigned functions and tasks, especially tasks related to administrative procedures on investment and construction. In particular, the requirement to resolve 100% of administrative procedures must be completed before and within the prescribed time.
