Hanoi welcomes the New Year

From December 31, 2024 to January 1, 2025, at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Son Tay Town), activities to welcome the New Year 2025 will take place. The program aims to introduce the cultural features of early spring with rituals, festivals, and customs of the ethnic groups living here.

Duong Lam ancient village and Son Tay ancient citadel walking street (Son Tay town) will be attractive destinations for tourists to have fun and welcome the new year. There will be art performances and local tourism promotion activities.

A special circus show to welcome the new year 2025 with a talented young artist team that has won many international awards will perform on stage at the Central Circus (67-69 Tran Nhan Tong).

A performance in the program

The HTV art program welcoming spring 2025 with the participation of many artists: People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, singer Quang Dung, Phuong Vy, Bui Anh Tuan, Hoang Ton, Tran Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Rapper Quan Lee, Vu Phung Tien and the Ngoc Trai Viet dance troupe... will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. on January 1, 2025 on HTV9.

On the occasion of New Year 2025, Hoi An City will organize a series of activities including a Street Art Performance program taking place on the evening of December 30 and 31 at Kazik Park. The Christmas Market - New Year 2025 at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge will last until January 2, 2025. Taking place from December 20, the program has attracted thousands of visitors. On the evening of December 31, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will organize the closing night of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024 combined with an art program to welcome the new year 2025 at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat City).

Ninh Kieu flower lantern night takes place on the occasion of New Year's holiday 2025

After 6 times of organization, for the first time, the 7th Ninh Kieu Tourism Festival - Flower Lantern Night took place on the occasion of the 2025 New Year holiday to serve people's entertainment and recreation.

The festival lasts from December 28, 2024 to January 1, 2025 with many exciting activities. The highlight is more than 50 flower lanterns displayed at Khai Luong canal (Ninh Kieu district), creating a shimmering, magical, and colorful night sky.

At the same time, at Ninh Kieu wharf, 55 booths promoting tourism and introducing OCOP products, cakes and folk cuisine will be put into operation.

The highlight of the festival is the night of December 30 and 31 with a light and water music performance on the river with the theme "center of light".
