With the approval of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Tri province organized the Peace Festival for the first time.

Bike Ride for Peace

The event was organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri with the participation of hundreds of athletes, delegates who are members of the Cycling Club and cycling enthusiasts from within and outside the country.

According to the schedule, on June 29, a parade with the theme "Cycling for Peace" will take place on the route: Hien Luong Ben Hai Relic Site - Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery - Fidel Park; along with many other meaningful activities.

June 30: Organize a bicycle race around Quang Tri Citadel with the theme: Peaceful Destination with the participation of 300 athletes.

Art program opening the festival For Peace

Held from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on July 6 at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai National Monument with the theme "Connecting Bridges" and broadcast live on VTV1. The program's guests include many domestic and foreign delegates and a large number of people. The event will feature speeches by leaders of the Party and State; leaders of Quang Tri province and a message of peace from the Director General of the UNESCO Cultural and Scientific Fund. After the ceremonies, a special art program will include a fireworks display to celebrate.

Cultural - culinary festival "Taste of the sunny flower land"

The program is organized by Vietnam Travel Magazine and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri from July 12 to 14 at Cua Viet Beach Resort (Gio Linh District).
