From December 26 to 29, 2024, at Sun Carniva Plaza Square, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, the Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2024 will take place with the theme Quang Ninh - Destination of culinary quintessence. The festival is chaired by the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant departments, branches, sectors and units.
Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2024 includes a series of new and attractive activities, typically: Exhibition and introduction of cuisine and typical traditional products and specialties of localities in the province and provinces and cities representing the three regions of North - Central - South at 200 booths; art programs, culinary art performances, and unique cocktail mixing by famous chefs and artisans.
This is a meaningful activity, an opportunity for localities and tourism businesses inside and outside the province to strengthen connections, exchange and learn experiences in developing cuisine into a unique tourism product, attracting tourists and becoming a typical brand of Quang Ninh tourism.
Organizing the event in the last months of 2024, especially when the Quang Ninh tourism industry is trying to overcome the severe damage caused by storm No. 3 in September 2024, demonstrates the determination and efforts of the government, tourism business community, and localities in the province to complete the goal of welcoming 19 million tourists in 2024. The Festival is expected to attract about 120,000 tourists.
Previously, Quang Ninh successfully organized the Food Festivals (2020, 2022, 2023) with positive media effects, attracting a lot of attention from provinces, cities, tourists and people to attend, contributing to enhancing the image and tourism brand of Quang Ninh.
