On March 18, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations led by Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the project to reorganize and streamline the agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State in the province. Working with the delegation on the side of Quang Ninh province were comrades: Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and localities.
Implementing the direction of the Central and Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on continuing to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the political system, the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Cell has developed a Project to arrange and streamline the Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State at the provincial and communal levels in the province. Based on political foundations, legal foundations and practical activities in the locality, the project is built on the principle of focusing on the grassroots, ensuring the strengthening of resources and human resources for the activities of the grassroots, residential areas, and close ties with union members, association members and people. At the same time, it overcomes the administrative situation in activities and overlaps in functions and tasks.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that in the past time, Quang Ninh has seriously and effectively implemented the Central's instructions on rearranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system. Currently, the province is directing the completion of the Project on not organizing the district level, merging commune-level administrative units and the Project on rearranging and streamlining the Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State in the province. The process of developing the projects was carried out in an objective and scientific manner, creating high consensus among cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the whole province. In particular, regarding the Project on rearranging and streamlining the agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State, the province's viewpoint is that the rearrangement must ensure the highest goal of strengthening the Party's leadership, contributing to streamlining the organizational apparatus and improving the quality of operations, and strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc in the new period.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the Politburo and the Secretariat to soon issue guidelines on operating regulations for special party organizations and bases, ensuring smooth operation of the entire political system after restructuring and streamlining.
Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasized that continuing to innovate the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations is a very important task and requirement in the current period. Thereby, in order to restructure the organizational apparatus and continue to promote the role and mission of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations in the new era of development of the country, contributing to building a solid position of people's hearts, creating unity and consensus in the whole society to realize development goals.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front highly appreciated the results that Quang Ninh has achieved in streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system. At the same time, he affirmed that the methods and models that Quang Ninh has implemented have provided very important arguments in both theory and practice for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations to complete the project to submit to the Politburo for consideration and decision.
In addition to streamlining the organizational structure, he also requested Quang Ninh province to continue to perform well the tasks of socio-economic development; continue to promote the tradition of the Heroic Mining Land to achieve stronger and more breakthrough developments.
