Pay attention to the qualifications and capacity of medical staff
At the Hanoi Children's Hospital construction investment project (phase 1), reporting to the Chairman of the City People's Committee, Director of the Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board Dong Phuoc An said that the project has a total investment of more than 784.4 billion VND. It is expected that by August 20, 2024, the construction and installation packages for technical infrastructure equipment outside the house, and the supply and installation of main construction equipment will be completed. Relevant units will coordinate to test the system interoperability; collect records, documents and complete the project completion records to organize fire prevention and fighting acceptance in August 2024; it is expected that the project will be accepted and handed over in September 2024.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said that the Hanoi Children's Hospital project is scheduled to be inaugurated and officially put into operation on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). Therefore, in August 2024, the project must complete the acceptance of fire prevention and fighting; at the same time, we will try to speed up the bidding packages to complete the project and hand over the trial operation before September 15.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha also proposed separating standards, norms, and equipment for hospitals to have a basis for speeding up implementation. At the same time, the authorities need to ensure synchronous traffic organization and urban planning in the hospital area; soon include in the public investment portfolio the traffic project connecting Hanoi Children's Hospital and neighboring projects.
Praising and appreciating the efforts of the City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board, departments, Ha Dong district and contractor Vinaconex, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested the units to be determined to ensure the highest level of completion both inside and outside the hospital premises; review the project progress, in special cases, there must be a special approach to ensure the project progress.
Along with emphasizing the need to enhance the responsibility of leaders and the determination to join hands in inaugurating the project on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh also requested functional sectors to pay attention to the qualifications and capacity of the medical staff, in order to ensure health care for the people; ensure clean air, water supply and wastewater treatment for the hospital. At the same time, maintain security, safety and urban order, continue to socialize in completing infrastructure and facilities for the hospital.
Free operation of Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway for 15 days
At the Hanoi Urban Railway Pilot Project, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station section, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh inspected the actual operation of the project from Station No. 1 (Nhon Station) to Station No. 8 (Cau Giay Station); inspected the underground drilling construction work at the CP03 package of the project.
Reporting on the project implementation, Head of the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board Nguyen Cao Minh said that the entire elevated section of the project (from Nhon station to Cau Giay station) has completed construction, installation and trial operation, and the acceptance work has been completed to meet the conditions for commercial operation. The elevated section of the project has successfully completed testing and legal procedures, meeting the conditions for commercial operation.
For the underground section, from station S9 to station S12, including the underground section after station S8 to station S9, the overall progress is 43.5%. Construction activities are taking place at all construction sites. Specifically, station S10 is implementing the external structure, station S11 is constructing the bottom slab waterproofing, station S12 is installing the top slab reinforcement... According to the plan, the tunnel drilling and installation work will be completed in November 2025. The entire underground part of the project will be completed in December 2027.
According to Hanoi Metro General Director Vu Hong Truong, the unit has received 10 trains, of which 6 are expected to operate. The company will flexibly manage personnel between the two sides (between the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station line and the Cat Linh - Ha Dong line). Since August 6, the unit has operated trains according to the schedule, from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Leaders of the departments also informed that the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway operates an elevated section of about 8.5 km, and the budget for operating the trains has been arranged. After the underground section is completed, the entire Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway will be put into operation, contributing to changing the appearance of urban traffic in the capital, conveniently connecting areas, and promoting socio-economic development.
Acknowledging and praising the efforts of the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board, departments, units and localities; at the same time, thanking the responsible participation of ministries, especially the Ministry of Construction, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that the project has met the necessary and sufficient conditions for commercial operation of the elevated section, meeting the expectations of the people of the capital.
Regarding the recommendations of the departments and branches, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line has advantages in inheriting experience from the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway line, with sufficient data to build standard unit prices; during the monitoring process, temporary unit prices will be used.
Requesting to put the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line into operation soon, in August 2024, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that the Department of Transport will activate the system on behalf of the city. During the 15 days of free operation, people will have access to the new urban railway line, and can visualize the route when participating in traffic by the urban railway system.
