ANTD.VN - Thu Duc House Development Joint Stock Company (TDH) said it has received a resignation letter from Mr. Nguyen Quang Nghia as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In his resignation letter, Mr. Nguyen Quang Nghia said that he was elected to the Board of Directors (BOD) and will hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from August 2023.
"During the past time, I have always tried my best to complete the tasks assigned by the General Meeting of Shareholders in the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. However, due to some personal reasons, I cannot continue to assume this role," Mr. Nghia wrote in his resignation letter.
Therefore, Mr. Nghia resigns from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and, at the same time, resigns from the position of Member of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Before submitting his resignation, Mr. Nghia also sold nearly 20.7 million shares of Thuduc House. After the transaction, Mr. Nghia is no longer a major shareholder of the company, holding only 52,200 shares, equivalent to 0.046%.
Previously, two other members of the Board of Directors of Thuduc House also submitted their resignations for similar reasons. Of which, Mr. Hoang Anh Phuc submitted his resignation on January 8 and Ms. Vo Thi Tuong Vy, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairwoman of the Audit Committee, resigned at the end of 2024. Mr. Hoang Anh Phuc was recently elected as an additional member of the Board of Directors of Thuduc House in June 2024.
Currently, Thuduc House’s Board of Directors has 3 members. If the above resignations are approved, it means that Thuduc House will “renew” the entire Board of Directors.
Previously, Thuduc House also changed its General Director. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long submitted his resignation on November 28, 2024 after more than 7 months in the hot seat. Replacing Mr. Long is Ms. Tran Thi Lien, who has never held any position at Thuduc House. Ms. Lien is currently the only member of TDH's Executive Board.
Thuduc House's upper echelons have been in constant flux since the end of 2021, after the General Director and a series of staff were arrested in a tax refund fraud case in the export of electronic components in the previous period. In 2022 alone, this enterprise changed its Chairman of the Board of Directors 3 times and in 2023, it continued to replace the new Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Quang Nghia.
In the Executive Board, before Mr. Nguyen Hai Long resigned, the former CEO of this enterprise, Mr. Dam Manh Cuong, also resigned from this position because he "felt that he did not meet the criteria of the new Board of Directors".
The business situation of this enterprise is also poor, Thuduc House is continuously forced to pay tax debts by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department.
Most recently, this company was forced by the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department to enforce an administrative decision on tax management, by withdrawing money from the company's account. The amount of money forced was more than 91 billion VND.
