On the morning of February 5, in Hoang Hoa district, Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of many departments, branches, and Hoang Hoa District People's Committee attended the launching ceremony of production and business in the year of At Ty at Le Gia Food and Trading Service Company Limited (Le Gia Fish Sauce).

Le Gia Fish Sauce was established on January 5, 2017 on the basis of a household business in the traditional fish sauce craft village of Hoang Phu commune, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. After 8 years of establishment, fish sauce products and processed and canned seafood products under the Le Gia brand have initially gained a foothold in the market thanks to the growth of business results and the expansion of domestic and international distribution channels.

In particular, the Mam Le Gia brand has also appeared in demanding markets such as the US, Japan, Korea, Australia, and Singapore. Up to now, among 79 products recognized as 5-star OCOP National, Mam Le Gia has contributed with 2 products (fish sauce and shrimp paste), and is also the only 5-star OCOP subject of Thanh Hoa province.

Although Le Gia started from a humble beginning, over the past 8 years, the company's development has been a symbol of the perseverance and desire to get rich of the young generation when they are willing to leave the city to return to their hometown to start a business. That development is not only reflected in simple business indicators but also contributes to creating livelihoods and income for the people, while contributing to preserving and promoting the good traditional values ​​of the homeland and country.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee congratulated and highly appreciated the results that Mam Le Gia has achieved in the past 8 years: "The provincial leaders are very proud of the results that Mam Le Gia has achieved, although the enterprise is still quite young. Le Gia's success is demonstrated by its business results and contributions to the community. Le Gia's products are present in most of the large and reputable supermarkets in the country with more than 3,000 retail outlets and 15,000 visitors coming to experience at the production facility.

Thanh Hoa province leaders pledged to continue to pay attention and create the best conditions within the legal framework for Mam Le Gia to develop further, becoming a driving force for young people and young businesses to start up, establish businesses and develop the economy right on their homeland.

Spreading the will and aspirations of youth

In 2024, despite facing many difficulties, Mam Le Gia has achieved many important results. Le Gia has put into operation a new factory with "lightning-fast" construction progress, and has been recognized by the province as an experiential tourism destination associated with traditional craft villages. The company's new products are continuously launched and have a foothold in the market.

The factory has also been granted export code TS 1171 to the EU, South Korea, China, and Taiwan markets. Le Gia fish sauce products continue to be exported to more than 10 countries and territories. With the National 5-star OCOP certification and Le Gia being selected by the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP) as a social impact enterprise, these are vivid proofs of the good values ​​that Le Gia is pursuing and contributing to the community.
