At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the role and contributions of the Indonesian Audit Commission (BPK) to state audit activities in the region and internationally. With its operational experience, the National Assembly Chairman hoped that BPK would continue to strengthen cooperation and share experiences with the State Audit of Vietnam.
BPK President Isma Yatun sincerely thanked National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue for taking the time to receive her during his official visit to Indonesia. She stated that in recent times, BPK and the State Audit of Vietnam have had many close, effective and substantive cooperation activities.
President Isma Yatun said he is preparing to visit and work with the State Audit of Vietnam and relevant agencies on cooperation between the two countries in the field of auditing, and hopes that the Vietnamese National Assembly will continue to support closer cooperation between the supreme audit agencies of the two countries.
The BPK Chairman emphasized the important contributions of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to regional state audit activities in his previous position as State Auditor General of Vietnam, especially the promotion of the establishment of the Southeast Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI).
The State Audit Office of Vietnam co-founded ASEANSAI with the supreme audit agencies of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei in 2011.
The BPK President expressed his hope that with his rich experience and in-depth understanding of the auditing field as well as cooperation between regional and international supreme audit institutions, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will continue to support cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of the two countries and support Indonesia as the host country of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) in 2028. She also expressed her wish to welcome the National Assembly Chairman to visit the BPK headquarters.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue stated that the State Audit of Vietnam is an agency established by the National Assembly of Vietnam, operates independently and only complies with the law, and conducts audits of the management and use of public finance and assets.

The performance of the State Audit has made important contributions to the implementation of the National Assembly's legislative, supervisory and decision-making functions on important national issues.
The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the Vietnamese National Assembly always supports cooperation activities between the State Audit Office and regional and international supreme audit agencies, including the BPK; proposed that the two agencies strengthen cooperation in financial audit, compliance audit and performance audit, focusing on audit cooperation in the fields of environment, information technology, digital transformation, audit quality control and other areas where the supreme audit agencies of the two countries have strengths and potential; continue to implement the secondment program for Vietnamese State Audit auditors in Indonesia.
BPK is the initiator of the establishment of the Supreme Audit Institution of the Group of Major Developed and Emerging Economies (SAI20) and successfully organized the SAI20 Summit in 2022 in Bali within the framework of Indonesia's 2022 Chairmanship of the Group of Major Developed and Emerging Economies (G20).
BPK is also a member of many INTOSAI working groups on information technology auditing, big data, environmental auditing, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering, sustainable development goals and key indicators of sustainable development, values and benefits of Supreme Audit Institutions, auditing of extractive industries, etc.
