Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong commended and highly appreciated the Ministry of Public Security for being proactive, grasping the situation, upholding responsibility, and completing all tasks well since the beginning of the term, including many excellent tasks, making an important contribution to protecting independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and unity; protecting the Party, State, people and the socialist regime; protecting the cause of innovation, industrialization and modernization; protecting national and ethnic interests; protecting political security, social order and safety; maintaining a peaceful, stable, secure and safe environment for national development, which has been highly appreciated by the Party, State and people. The President emphasized a number of key tasks that need to be focused on in the coming time.
