At around 7:00 p.m. on March 4, a major fire broke out at a wool factory of a household on Le Van Tam Street (Ward 10, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province).
The fire initially broke out and quickly spread, engulfing the entire factory. People living near the scene tried to use water and mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Authorities dispatched fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire (Photo: Minh Hau).
After receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Lam Dong Province mobilized 3 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Because the factory area contained many flammable materials, firefighting efforts encountered many difficulties. However, by 8:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control by the authorities.
The wool factory area covers hundreds of square meters and fortunately no one was there at the time of the fire.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, but all the wool, equipment and materials in the factory were burned down.
