Also on January 9, 2025, CAHN and Thanh Hoa clubs will compete in the third round of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 group stage. Thanh Hoa will visit BG Pathum United while CAHN will play at Kaya-Iloilo.

After that, V-League will continue to take place for 2 more rounds on January 16, 17 and January 23, 24 before the tournament is suspended for about 2 weeks for the teams to take a break for the Lunar New Year.

Thus, some V-League clubs will have to play 4 matches in a period of 18, 19 days in January 2025. The average density will be about 1 match every 4 days, a number not inferior to the dense match schedule of the Premier League in December 2024.
