On the afternoon of August 26, with the majority of delegates in favor, the National Assembly passed resolutions approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of a number of Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

Also on the afternoon of August 26, at the Presidential Palace, General Secretary and President To Lam chaired the ceremony to announce and present the President's decision to appoint Deputy Prime Ministers, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, and Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 term.

Immediately after the National Assembly approved the appointment and General Secretary and President To Lam presented the President's decision to appoint three Deputy Prime Ministers and two Ministers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting, congratulated and assigned tasks to the newly appointed comrades.

Specifically, the Deputy Prime Ministers: Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ho Duc Phoc, Bui Thanh Son; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy; Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh.
