Dr. Bui Sy Tuan Anh - Director of the Transport Hospital said that on the morning of May 25, the hospital examined, consulted, and evaluated the general condition of 3 patients. Their health is stable and they are expected to be discharged this afternoon.
Regarding the health status of the three seriously ill patients transferred from the Transport Hospital to Bach Mai Hospital on the afternoon of May 24, Dr. Tuan Anh said that the 84-year-old man being treated at the Intensive Care Center had undergone lung lavage endoscopy and tests to assess cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological functions.
The brain and heart were affected, the patient has not yet regained consciousness, his condition is still very serious, doctors are still actively treating him.
The patient was transferred to Bach Mai Hospital.
The two patients, a husband and wife, are currently being treated at the Poison Control Center and both have signs of myocardial damage, respiratory burns, CO poisoning, and pneumonia.
After consulting and doing some more tests for them, the doctors combined CO detoxification drugs and high-pressure oxygen to prevent neurological and mental complications.
As reported by VTC News , at 0:30 on May 24, a house in Lane 119 Trung Kinh, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District (Hanoi) caught fire. In just a few minutes, the fire flared up violently with many explosions. The cause of the fire may have been due to an electric bicycle short circuit and fire.
The fire killed 14 people; 6 people were injured and taken to the Transport Hospital, including 4 adults and 2 children. That same afternoon, 3 of the 6 injured people were transferred to Bach Mai Hospital.
