A two-story house deep in an alley in Ho Chi Minh City caught fire with billowing black smoke. Neighbors discovered the fire and shouted for help, so the two people were able to escape.
The fire broke out at around 10pm tonight (February 8) at a 2-storey house in alley L38, Phu Lam A Residential Area, Ward 12, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City.
People discovered a red fire and billowing smoke from the house above. They quickly shouted and brought many fire extinguishers to approach the house.
At this time, inside the house, a woman and her child ran out in panic.
Due to the large fire that threatened to spread to adjacent houses, the on-site forces were forced to retreat.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, District 6 Police, including dozens of officers, soldiers and vehicles, quickly arrived at the scene, deployed many approaches, and sprayed water cannons to prevent the fire from spreading to people's houses.
About 30 minutes, the fire was under control.
At the scene, the 2-storey house burned down many properties and the corrugated iron roof collapsed.
It is known that this house was rented by a woman for a family of 5 to live in. At the time of the fire, there were 2 people in the house and luckily they all escaped.
