The program "Border - Full Moon Festival Night" is organized with fun activities for teenagers and children to happily celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival; at the same time, care and encourage children with difficult circumstances, less fortunate, disadvantaged in life to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with friends.
Through the program, the Border Guard force hopes to work with local authorities and schools to create the best conditions for children to study, play and progress together.


At the program, the children of Mon Son commune, students in the program "Helping children go to school - Border Guard's adopted children" and the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" adopted and sponsored by Nghe An Provincial Border Guard enjoyed many performances, participated in group games, watched lion dances and enjoyed the Mid-Autumn Festival.


Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai - Commander of the Border Guard emphasized that on this occasion, across all border areas of the country, the Border Guard Command has directed units to coordinate with localities and schools to organize fun activities for children to happily celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, especially caring for and encouraging children in difficult circumstances, less fortunate, and disadvantaged in life to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with friends.
Last school year, although there were many difficulties and hardships, especially for the students in the dormitory who had to live far from home and had poor living conditions, they obeyed their teachers, tried hard, studied well and achieved better results this year than last year, many students achieved the title of excellent students and good children of Uncle Ho. This is the joy, pride and hope of each student, each family, teacher, school and locality.

In recent times, Border Guard units have regularly cared for children in border areas, especially implementing the Program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard stations" and the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" to support and help thousands of children in difficult and especially difficult circumstances to have the conditions to go to school, become good children, good students, many children have passed the entrance exams to universities and colleges and continue to strive to excel.

At the program, Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court presented school bags and some school supplies to the children participating in the program.



The Border Guard Command and the Provincial People's Committee presented 114 gifts to 66 students in the program "Helping children go to school - Border Guard adopted children" and the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" who have excellent academic achievements; 38 students of Mon Son commune achieved excellent student status at district level or higher, 10 students with especially difficult circumstances.
