Recently, the "infinity sea" in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh has attracted many tourists, especially young people, because of its magical beauty every morning at dawn.

Head of the Tourism Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh Nguyen Van Hung said that the "infinite sea" is actually Thuy Hai beach located next to the mouth of Diem Ho river, a small branch of the Red river with the characteristic of brown alluvial sand, flat and wide.

This place is often exploited by local people for seafood. Recently, Thuy Hai beach has emerged as a new tourist destination thanks to its photo effect like a giant mirror.

However, this is a spontaneous tourist destination, to ensure safety, visitors need to pay attention to weather forecasts and look up the calendar provided by the locality or the Hon Dau tidal calendar, the tidal calendar is posted on the Information Portal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh.

Mr. Hung emphasized: “Tourists need to pay special attention to the tide schedule and need to get to shore before the sea level rises too high. If the water rises to waist level, everywhere you look is boundless and “infinite”, tourists will not know the way in and may be in danger.”

According to Mr. Hung, the tides rise and fall differently every day. Some days the water is high at 6am, but some days the water is still low at 8am and tourists can still move around easily.

At the tourist spot, local authorities have also posted tide schedules for visitors to conveniently monitor and adjust their arrival times.

The best day to go is the day when the water level is low (according to Hon Dau tidal calendar) from 1.2m or less. If the weather is not favorable, visitors should not depart. Visitors should arrange their travel time appropriately to be at the sea dike at around 4am and start to leave for the beach, passing through the mangrove forest along the residential road.

The road through the mangrove forest has a slippery mud surface and sometimes requires wading, so visitors should prepare a pair of boots, plastic shoes or thick socks. This is a new tourist attraction, without full services, so visitors need to proactively prepare food, drinks, boots, plastic shoes, socks, wind oil, camera, chair... and other necessary items.

Thuy Xuan Commune Police informed that during the April 30 - May 1 holidays, many tourists and residents came to visit and experience the "infinite sea".

The units have coordinated to ensure security and order, check and remind boat owners, and mobilize owners of homemade tracked vehicles to sign a commitment to stop operating without a license to ensure safety for people and tourists.

According to research, the most beautiful natural scenery at the beach appears between 4:30 and 6:00 a.m. To reach the "infinity sea", visitors must go through a muddy road in two ways.

One is to walk through the mud for about 2-3km. The other is to rent a homemade car for 40,000 VND/trip/person. Visitors to the "infinity sea" often have to wake up very early, arriving here from 4am to 6am.
