Promoting Vietnam's image at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025

At the opening ceremony, students, including disabled students from schools in Osaka Prefecture, marched with flags of countries and international organizations participating in EXPO 2025.

An estimated 140,000 visitors attended EXPO 2025 on its first day of opening on April 13. On the first opening day of EXPO 2025, ASEAN Secretary General Kao Kim Hourn visited the Vietnam Pavilion. Mr. Kao Kim Hourn and Mr. Dara Lux, Director of the ASEAN Pavilion at EXPO 2025, presented Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Representative General of Vietnam, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the Pavilion’s own seal for the ASEAN Trail Challenge program.

This is an event launched by the ASEAN Secretariat to promote the ASEAN Expo. Visitors to the ASEAN Expo will receive a special passport and will be given gifts when they visit and collect enough stamps of 10 member countries.

On this occasion, Deputy Mayor of Sakai City, Kansai region, Mr. Motoya Kazuhiro also sent greetings to the leaders and staff of Vietnam Exhibition House.

The Vietnam Exhibition Hall at EXPO 2025 is organized and operated by the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism . The Exhibition Hall is located in the area with the theme "Empowering Lives", location BE7, near the Japan Exhibition Hall and the main traffic connection point of the east side of the exhibition grounds. Vietnam chose to rent a pre-built Exhibition Hall (Type B) with an area of ​​300m2.

Aiming at the general theme of EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai is “Designing the future society for our lives”, the theme of Vietnam Exhibition Hall is “An inclusive society where people are centered”.
