The story of two sons carrying Mrs. Kiem in a wheelchair to the top of Nghia Linh mountain, part of the Hung Temple historical relic site (Viet Tri city) to offer incense to the Hung Kings has caused a stir in the online community.
Specifically, on April 27, the image of two sons carrying their 87-year-old mother in a wheelchair, step by step to the top of Nghia Linh mountain so that the old mother could fulfill her wish to come and personally offer incense to the Hung Kings, made the online community admire, the image was quickly shared widely on social networks.
According to the reporter's investigation, the mother in the wheelchair is Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kiem (87 years old, living in La Phu commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi). On the morning of April 27, Mr. Ngo Van Thuong and Mr. Ngo Van Tuan - Mrs. Kiem's two sons took their mother from her hometown in Hoai Duc, on a pilgrimage to Phu Tho so that she could personally offer incense to the Hung Kings.
On the way to the top of the sacred Nghia Linh mountain, Mr. Thuong and Mr. Tuan persistently pushed the wheelchair uphill to the top of the mountain, climbing about 495 stone steps to pass through the Lower Temple, the Middle Temple and then the Upper Temple.
Witnessing the incident, many tourists at the Hung Temple Historical Site were very moved, expressing their admiration and respect, continuously giving way to the mother and her three children, even willing to support and help the two children, everyone wished the family of Mr. Kiem much happiness and blessings.
Mr. Ngo Van Tuan - Mr. Kiem's son shared: "My mother is old, her legs are very weak so she has to use a wheelchair. When she said she wanted to go home this year to offer incense to the Hung Kings, my brothers and I discussed and decided to help her fulfill her wish. Even though it was a bit tiring, seeing her happy made us very happy. Everyone made way, continuously offered to help and gave many congratulations, which made us very grateful."
