In 2025, Hanoi University of Pharmacy plans to enroll 940 students; of which, Pharmacy will enroll the most with 760 students (including 30 places for the joint program with the University of Sydney, Australia).
Regarding methods, Hanoi University of Pharmacy maintains 4 stable admission methods, including direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission combined with high school transcripts and SAT certificates, considering high school transcripts for specialized students or considering A-level certificates (British higher education certificates); admission based on thinking assessment test scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; considering high school graduation exam scores.
With SAT certificate, the condition is from 1400/1600 or higher for Pharmacy; 1350 for other majors.
This year, for the first time, Hanoi University of Pharmacy will consider candidates with A-level certificates. Candidates need to have the results of three subjects according to the admission combination in each major reaching 80/100 points or higher, in which Chemistry must score at least 90/100.
For students majoring in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, the admission score is the sum of the average score of each subject, plus the converted priority points and incentive points.
In all of the above methods, candidates must have good academic performance for three years, with a score of 8 or higher for each subject in the admission combination in grades 10, 11, and 12.
The admission method based on the results of the thinking assessment test of Hanoi University of Science and Technology only applies to the Pharmacy major. Students need to achieve above 7 points in Math, Physics, Chemistry in three years of study. This condition also applies to the method of considering the results of the high school graduation exam in the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry majors.
Candidates admitted to the industry Pharmacy can apply for a joint training program with the University of Sydney, Australia, if they have an IELTS certificate of 6.5 or higher (no skill below 6) or equivalent.
This year, the Academy of Finance plans to recruit 6,320 students with 4 methods, eliminating admission based on separate exam scores of the National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
The school's four admission methods include direct admission; consideration of candidates with outstanding abilities; consideration of 2025 high school graduation exam scores and combined consideration.
For direct admission, the school applies the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. In the method of selecting candidates with outstanding abilities, students need to graduate from high school and meet one of three conditions: winning an encouragement prize in the national excellent student competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or being sent to participate in international competitions; winning first or second prizes in provincial and city excellent students in cultural subjects; having an international certificate (IELTS from 7.0; TOEFL iBT from 95 points - do not use Home Edition; or SAT 1450/1600 or higher).
With combined admission, the candidate's admission score is calculated as follows: admission score = subject 1 score (multiplied by coefficient 2) + subject 2 score + subject 3 score. In which, subject 1 score is the high school graduation exam score in English (for candidates registering for the international certificate orientation program or the English language program of the standard program) or the math exam score (for candidates registering for the remaining majors of the standard program). Subject 2 score is the physics or chemistry or literature or math exam score (if subject 1 score is English) or English (if subject 1 score is math). Subject 3 score is the average high school grade (grade 10 + grade 11 + grade 12)/3 from 8.0 or higher.
With the method of using high school graduation exam scores, candidates registering for the international certificate orientation program or the English language standard program use the combination A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English), in which the English subject is multiplied by a coefficient of 2. For the remaining majors, the school considers the combination A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01, D01, D07, the math subject is multiplied by a coefficient of 2.
This year, the Academy of Finance has 14 more training programs, including 9 international certificate-oriented programs and 5 standard programs. The school's tuition fee ranges from 20 to 28 million VND/year for the standard program; the international certificate-oriented and international joint programs are 50 to 55 million VND/year and 60 to 75 million VND/year, respectively.
The University of Transport Technology enrolls 6,000 students, an increase of 300 students compared to 2024. Along with that, the school has 11 new programs, including: high-speed railway engineering technology, locomotive and train mechanical engineering technology, railway transport management and operation, financial technology (fintech), microelectronics engineering and semiconductor physics, robotics engineering technology and artificial intelligence, electric and hybrid car technology, international business, travel and tourism, data security and cyber security.
The school maintains 4 admission methods as in 2024, including: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025; combined admission based on academic records; admission based on thinking assessment and capacity assessment results in 2025.
The school also expanded the admission combination, in accordance with the 2018 General Education Program, from 4 traditional combinations A00 (math, physics, chemistry); A01 (math, physics, English); D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English) to 16 combinations.
Additional combinations include: C00 (literature, history, geography); C01 (literature, history, math); C04 (literature, math, geography); G01 (math, technology, English); G02 (math, IT, English); G03 (math, economic and legal education, English); G04 (math, literature, physics); G05 (math, literature, chemistry); G06 (math, literature, biology); G07 (math, literature, IT); G08 (math, literature, technology); G09 (math, literature, economic and legal education).
