This year, 20 military schools recruited nearly 4,400 military elementary, college and university students, a decrease of nearly 1,000 compared to last year.
The Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense has just announced the enrollment quota of 20 military schools, including universities, academies and colleges.
Of which, the Political Officer School recruits the most with 766 positions. The College of Cryptography Engineering, the College of National Defense Industry, and the College of Information Engineering recruit the least with 30 positions.

This year, military schools are recruiting civilians again after a 6-year hiatus, with about 3,500 quotas.
Admission methods are expected to remain stable as last year, including: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering the scores of the competency assessment test organized by the two National Universities; high school graduation exam scores; considering academic records.
Regarding the admission combinations, schools will continue to use 7 combinations, including: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D02 (Math, Literature, Russian), D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese). Of which, A00 and A01 are the two most used combinations.
Candidates for the military system must pass a preliminary selection, expected from March 25 to May 20. Candidates who meet the standards of background, culture, health and age are eligible to register. For the civilian system, candidates do not have to pass a preliminary selection.
