Universities announce admission scores before 5pm on August 22

After the virtual filtering process, universities will announce the 2023 admission scores to candidates before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that as of the end of July 30, a total of more than 660,000 candidates had registered for admission, equivalent to 66% of the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. In 2022, this rate will be 64.07%.

According to regulations, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates must complete the payment of admission fees on the system. After this time, the system will close the portal.

After August 6, the Ministry of Education and Training will update data and coordinate with schools to organize the virtual selection and screening process, expected to be virtual 6 times. The Ministry of Education and Training will organize virtual screening of all selection methods, process admission wishes to determine the highest wish that candidates are eligible to be admitted.

According to the plan, before 5:00 p.m. on August 22, higher education institutions will announce the first round of admission scores for candidates using the method of considering high school graduation exam results and separate admission methods that do not organize early admission.

Before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, candidates must complete the admission confirmation procedure on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admission support system. If candidates do not complete this step, they will be considered to have refused admission.

From September 7, schools will announce additional admissions if there are still vacancies.
