Women of Mo Duc district spread the beauty of traditional ao dai

(Baoquangngai.vn)- More than 300 women members participated in the parade "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai" organized by the Women's Union of Mo Duc district; contributing to honoring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The parade "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai" took place on the morning of March 1 at the Memorial House of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, in Mo Duc town (Mo Duc).

The program featured many special performances expressing love for the homeland and country; honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women in Ao Dai. The highlight was the Ao Dai ensemble performance to the song “The Fatherland Calls My Name”, with the participation of more than 300 local women’s association members.

After the performance, from the Vietnam Heroic Mother Memorial House, women's association members cycled through the central areas of Mo Duc district to the Prime Minister Pham Van Dong Memorial Site in Duc Tan commune and respectfully offered incense to commemorate the 119th anniversary of Prime Minister Pham Van Dong's birthday (March 1, 1906 - March 1, 2025).

Quang Ngai Newspaper awarded a symbolic certificate to support the cost of eradication.
Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc presented a symbolic plaque of financial support for the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses to the Women's Union of Mo Duc district.

Implementing the program "Loving Ao Dai - Going to school with you", on this occasion, the Women's Union of Mo Duc district also awarded 160 bundles of Ao Dai fabric and 85 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances in the district, with a total value of 133 million VND.

On this occasion, Quang Ngai Newspaper also presented a symbolic board of support of 120 million VND to the Women's Union of Mo Duc district to build 2 houses. This is the fund supported by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Dung Quat Branch and the Provincial Social Policy Bank through Quang Ngai Newspaper.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Mo Duc District Women's Union Huynh Thi Thuy Trang emphasized that the program aims to respond to the Vietnam Ao Dai Week 2025 launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025), the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the 50th anniversary of Mo Duc District Liberation Day (March 23, 1975 - March 23, 2025).

The program has contributed to spreading meaningful and positive messages about the nation's fine traditional values; honoring the beauty of traditional Ao Dai, contributing to gradually turning Vietnamese Ao Dai into a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
