(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of August 15, the police of districts, towns and cities in the province launched a general inspection of passenger transport vehicles and container freight vehicles.

In Duc Pho Town: Colonel Dao Quang Minh - Head of Duc Pho Town Police has thoroughly informed all officers and soldiers about the plans and orders of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Director of the Provincial Police, the direction of the Town Party Committee, the Town People's Committee, as well as the leadership and direction of the leaders of Duc Pho Town Police during the entire campaign. Accordingly, from August 15 to October 15, 2023, the functional forces of the Town Police, the Commune and Ward Police in the area will simultaneously launch a general inspection of passenger transport and container freight transport vehicles in the area.

Duc Pho Town Police will mobilize forces and vehicles to patrol, control and strictly handle violations of traffic order and safety on road routes in the area, focusing on routes with frequent traffic accidents, winding, dangerous roads with limited visibility before entering national highways, areas with transit points, pick-up and drop-off points that do not comply with regulations, routes in warehouse, port, and wharf areas, etc.

The general inspection focused on violations of traffic rules and conditions of drivers and vehicles such as: alcohol and drug concentrations, expired vehicles, oversized and overloaded vehicles, speeding, road sections, lanes, stopping, picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place, carrying more people than the prescribed number...

After the launching ceremony, forces and vehicles of the Town Police, Commune and Ward Police in the area paraded on the streets to promote traffic safety.

In Mo Duc: This general inspection of passenger and container trucks will be carried out from August 1 to October 15, 2023 and divided into 2 phases. Phase I (from August 1 to 14) focuses on doing a good job of basic investigation, grasping the situation of vehicles, passenger and cargo transport business activities by container trucks; routes, areas of operation, number of vehicles, business owners, drivers; propagandizing and mobilizing vehicle owners, business owners and drivers to comply with the law, sign commitments to ensure traffic order and safety.

In Phase II (from August 15 to October 15), the traffic police and public order forces of the district police will simultaneously launch a general inspection to handle violations of passenger transport vehicles and container trucks such as: Drivers using drugs, violating alcohol concentration; exceeding the prescribed speed; stopping and parking in violation of regulations; driving in the wrong part of the road or lane; carrying more people than prescribed; no driver's license, vehicle registration, technical safety and environmental protection inspection certificate; vehicles that have expired, expired inspection, are oversized, or overloaded; transportation orders, routes, schedules, and transportation itineraries; transportation contracts, passenger lists; surveillance cameras and journey monitoring devices on commercial vehicles; badges, vehicle driving time, etc.

The traffic police and public order force of the district police will increase patrols and control, strictly handle violations of the Road Traffic Law on traffic routes in the district, focusing on provincial roads 624B, 624C, 627B, district roads, and commune roads that regularly have passenger and cargo transportation activities...

In Tu Nghia: From August 1 to October 15, 2023, the traffic police and order force of the District Police will focus on handling violations of the Road Traffic Law by drivers of passenger cars and container trucks transporting goods; handling vehicles with extended walls and cargo beds; carrying oversized, overloaded vehicles, driving in the wrong lane, carrying more people than prescribed; violations of alcohol and drug concentrations... Thereby, contributing to creating a strong change in awareness and sense of law enforcement in the field of ensuring traffic order and safety of drivers and transport business units and enterprises.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of Tu Nghia District Police marched to propagate the Road Traffic Law to people and transport business owners; launched a general inspection of passenger transport vehicles and container freight vehicles on key routes in the district.

In Nghia Hanh: The district police launched a peak campaign to control passenger transport vehicles, container freight vehicles and ensure traffic order and safety from August 1 to October 15, 2023.

Organize review and inspection of business activities, road transport business conditions, driver management, and vehicle operator conditions of organizations and individuals operating passenger transport and container freight transport businesses in the area.

Require organizations and individuals operating in the transport business to sign a commitment to comply with regulations on ensuring traffic safety. Coordinate with functional forces to organize inspections of safety conditions of works and traffic infrastructure; review the system of painted lines, traffic signs, guardrails, traffic lights, reflective warning devices, speed bumps at intersections, roads with steep slopes, narrow curves, limited visibility, and locations where residential roads are opened.

Assess and survey to identify "black spots", potential traffic accident spots, locations and areas where markets are often held, places with schools, crowded places along main traffic routes, potential traffic safety risks to have timely solutions, contributing to curbing traffic accidents, ensuring traffic order and safety.

In the process of performing duties, the head of Nghia Hanh District Police strictly prohibits taking advantage of the general control to harass, be negative, and cause difficulties for business activities of people and enterprises in the district.

In Tra Bong: The leaders of the district police have directed the forces to strictly implement the plan and orders of the provincial police director, launching a campaign throughout the army to carry out a peak period of total control of passenger transport vehicles and container freight vehicles from August 15 to October 15, 2023.

Resolutely and strictly handle violations of these types of vehicles, especially thoroughly handling violations of alcohol concentration, drugs and other stimulants (especially at night); organize control at transit points and parking lots to have measures for management and supervision.

Strengthen coordination with agencies, units, and localities to propagate, disseminate, and educate about laws on traffic order and safety, especially in industrial parks, schools, companies, enterprises, and cooperatives operating in passenger and cargo transportation business... in the district, contributing to raising awareness and compliance with legal regulations on traffic order and safety for workers, vehicle owners, drivers, and people.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the district police force, police from communes and towns in the district paraded on the roads from the district center through the communes of Tra Binh, Tra Phu, Tra Son, Tra Thuy, combined with mobile loudspeaker vehicles to call on people to raise their awareness of obeying the law on traffic order and safety.

In Son Tinh: Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the District Traffic Safety Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong requested that in the coming time, the district's departments and offices continue to promote the dissemination of legal regulations on ensuring traffic safety and order in general and regulations on the operation of passenger transport vehicles and container freight vehicles in particular to the people.

Do a good job of grasping the situation of routes, areas, types of vehicles, operating hours, especially at bus stations, warehouses, mineral mines, etc. to develop effective patrol and control plans. Require organizations and individuals to sign a commitment to comply with regulations on ensuring traffic safety.
