At the same time, maintaining and repairing equipment at the central pump tunnel, 6KV power distribution station at level -35, level -140 and additional pump tunnels to ensure technical requirements to serve well the work of pumping and draining mine water, storm prevention work in 2024 and the following years. The company has implemented many solutions to propose flexible production plans, strengthen inspection work to handle immediately without causing production interruption, improve productivity to compensate for the time affected by storms, thereby striving to produce an average of 7,000 tons of coal/day in the fourth quarter, an increase of about 400 tons/day compared to the third quarter.
Despite suffering heavy damage from storm No. 3, as one of the three pillars of national energy security, TKV units are boosting production and business, striving to achieve the highest targets set, to compensate for other industries and fields. TKV strives to complete the target of producing 37.4 million tons of coal, consuming 50 million tons of coal in 2024, contributing to promoting the growth of the industry and the province.
After storm No. 3 until now, in addition to overcoming the damage, Uong Bi Thermal Power Company has handled the defects of the generators during the shutdown period; closely monitored and supervised the operation of the generators' equipment to ensure that no subjective incidents occurred; strengthened inspection, consolidation, replacement, upgrading, and repair of equipment defects to ensure the reliability and availability of the generators; focused on ensuring environmental sanitation, ensuring that no environmental incidents occurred that disrupted the production process. At the same time, updated the mobilization needs in the last months of the year to adjust the operation plan promptly, flexibly, and proactively to ensure electricity production according to the system's requirements. The company maintained the arrangement of workers to work appropriately according to the plan to ensure the efficient operation of the generators.
In addition, the Company proactively coordinates with suppliers to prepare coal and oil fuel to ensure that the prescribed amount of fuel is sufficient for the generator to operate stably according to the dispatch plan. At the same time, strictly control the quality of coal to ensure that the values of humidity, calorific value, etc. comply with regulations; strive to complete the production plan of 3.9 billion kWh in 2024.
