On the morning of March 20, Comrade Luong Tuan Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Construction chaired a working session between relevant agencies of Cao Bang province, including the Departments of Construction, Foreign Affairs, Finance, and the City People's Committee, with the working delegation of Pacific Construction Group (China) led by Ms. Tu Minh Quyen, Chairman of Lan Bac Loan Construction and Development Joint Stock Company.

At the meeting, relevant agencies of Cao Bang province shared information about a number of important infrastructure projects that the province is calling for investment from ODA capital and non-refundable aid capital, including: The East-West Belt Road Project of Cao Bang city, about 16.50 km long, with a total investment of about 2,000 billion VND connecting with National Highway 3, National Highway 34B, connecting the two expressways Cao Bang - Lang Son and Cao Bang - Bac Kan, connecting with airport planning and logistics planning areas, industrial parks, new urban areas, helping the city increase transportation capacity, promote economic development, attract investment and solve traffic congestion problems. The project will create traffic connections with key domestic and foreign traffic routes of Cao Bang province.
The project to build a drainage and wastewater treatment system for Cao Bang city with 4 wastewater treatment stations with a capacity of 500 - 4,000m3/day and night, with an investment capital of about 2,000 billion VND. The project will reduce environmental pollution, protect water resources, improve people's quality of life, contribute to completing technical infrastructure, attracting investment, and promoting socio-economic development for Cao Bang city.
The project of road and bridge connecting Hop Giang ward - Song Bang ward, Cao Bang city and the embankment system, traffic road on the left bank of Bang river with a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND. The project will expand urban space, develop land fund in Song Bang ward, creating favorable conditions to attract investors to implement the urban area project of Song Bang ward with a scale of about 50 hectares.
In addition, the province is in need of completing the infrastructure of the border economic zone according to the Master Plan for the construction of the border economic zone of Cao Bang province until 2040 and the Border Gate Planning on the Vietnam - China land border for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Deploying the smart border gate model of Tra Linh (Cao Bang) - Long Bang (China); investing in completing infrastructure and entertainment services at the Ban Gioc Waterfall Landscape Area (Vietnam) - Duc Thien (China) according to the agreement signed by the two governments to attract tourists between the two countries. Calling on investors to research and invest in eco-tourism and resort tourism services in the Phia Oac - Phia Den area (Nguyen Binh district); resort, sports (golf course), entertainment and tourism service complex, with a scale of about 200 - 250 hectares in Dinh Phong commune, Trung Khanh district.
Ms. Tu Minh Quyen, Chairman of Lan Bac Loan Construction and Development Joint Stock Company, affirmed that the projects that Cao Bang province introduced to the enterprise all have the capacity to implement investment from capital to maintenance phase. The enterprise is ready to exchange and cooperate with the province in implementing infrastructure projects, such as: traffic works, building smart border gates, building logistics centers, promoting the construction of cross-border economic cooperation zones, etc. In addition, the enterprise is also ready to cooperate in building green infrastructure towards protecting the ecological environment. She hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to exchange and coordinate more closely so that the cooperation will achieve many positive and practical results. At the same time, she emphasized that with its experience and reputation, the group will accompany the development of the province, hoping to find investment opportunities in Cao Bang province in the coming time.
