Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders representing a number of relevant departments and branches; the Provincial Journalists Association; local press agencies, and central press agencies stationed in the province.

In April, the province's press agencies closely followed the propaganda orientation, promptly and comprehensively reflecting outstanding current events and politics, focusing on key tasks in socio-economic development, national defense and security, foreign affairs, Party building, political system building, etc. Contributing to promoting the image of the land, people, potential and strengths of Lao Cai province to domestic and international friends.

Central press agencies stationed in the province have also proactively and actively followed the grassroots to reflect and publish many rich news, articles and images about Lao Cai.

During the month, Lao Cai Newspaper published and distributed 20 issues, with a total circulation of more than 87,400 copies; Lao Cai Electronic Newspaper and Lao Cai Newspaper Fanpage had nearly 5.5 million visits.
The Provincial Radio and Television Station produces more than 1,180 programs, including radio and television in Vietnamese and ethnic languages, and collaborates with the Central Radio Station and other units to produce 179 news and articles.
Phan Si Pang Magazine and provincial newsletters actively promote the activities of agencies, units, departments, branches and localities; focus on propagating and disseminating the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State; promote major holidays and important political events of the province and the country...

Speaking on the direction of propaganda work in May, Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized: Reporters and central and local press agencies need to focus on reporting on the socio-economic achievements in the first quarter; the 2024 Land Law; the results of the 8th meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee, the results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, the results of the 17th session of the 16th Provincial Party Committee; propagating the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; propagating the results of implementing Resolution 10 of the Provincial Party Committee on the strategy for developing commodity agriculture to 2030, with a vision to 2050; social security work, etc.
Special attention is paid to promoting important political events of the country in May, such as: Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 1954); commemorating President Ho Chi Minh's birthday on May 19, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and following the spirit of "7 dares".
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also requested that reporters, in the process of creating journalistic works, avoid "clickbait headlines" or article titles that cause skepticism among readers... contributing to building an honest and developed revolutionary press that truly creates momentum for the process of local construction and development.
