According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, US Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, is leading her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, by 3 points nationwide. Specifically, Ms. Harris won 46% support and Mr. Trump won 43%.
The poll also found that immigration, the economy and threats to democracy are top concerns for potential voters.

Meanwhile, the election forecast released by The Hill/Decision Desk HQ last weekend showed that Mr. Trump had surpassed Ms. Harris for the first time, with a ratio of 52-48.
However, according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ , as of October 22, the Democratic candidate is leading his opponent by 1.2 points, 49% to 47.8%, nationwide.
Equal race in the "battlefields"
In seven battleground states, polls also showed mixed results.

Harris is winning the financial race.
Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign and affiliated Democratic political action committees brought in about $633 million in the second quarter of this year, bringing their total fundraising to more than $1 billion.
In September alone, Ms. Harris’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state party officials raised more than $359 million.
This money helps the female Vice President maintain a financial advantage over Republican candidate Donald Trump in the final sprint of the election.
Meanwhile, former President Trump's campaign, the Republican National Committee and affiliated political committees reported raising $160 million in September. As of this writing, Trump's re-election effort has raised $283 million.
The figures show that Ms. Harris's total monthly donations far exceed the amount raised by Mr. Trump and the Republican Party since she took over as the Democratic candidate from President Joe Biden in July.
The Democratic Party said 95% of donations to Harris came from contributions of less than $200. About 6 million donors contributed more than $13.1 million, including 4.3 million first-time donors this election cycle, according to the campaign.
Ms. Harris has also received support from major donors such as stars Jessica Alba, Lily Tomlin and Stevie Wonder, officials such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi...
