"A giant whale appeared in Quy Nhon waters. This is very interesting information. The commune has arranged forces to wait today. If the whale continues to appear, the local people will film it and show it to everyone," said Mr. Lam.

Fisherman Huynh Ngoc De, who directly filmed the moment the whale appeared, said he was extremely surprised to see the whale surface and then take the bait.

At that time, Mr. De and another friend were rowing a boat out to sea to fish. The boat was about 1km from the shore when they stopped to fish.

"When my friend started to let go of the fishing rod and lay on the boat waiting, I suddenly saw the whale's mouth sticking out of the water. I was very surprised, then my friend also burst into tears because it was the first time he saw this scene," Mr. De recalled.

It is known that this whale is nearly 8m long and weighs about 1 ton. When it appeared near the shore, the whale was swimming alone. After it raised its mouth to catch prey, the whale swam away.
