The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province said that the provincial People's Committee decided to organize Thanh Tra Festival and perform a Vietnamese record with 135 culinary dishes made from Thanh Tra of Binh Minh town. The event will open on April 12 at Binh Minh Secondary and High School with the participation of about 150 delegates.
Within the framework of the festival, many attractive activities will take place such as culinary competitions, OCOP product displays and introductions of typical local products. In particular, the performance of 135 dishes made from pomelos will not only contribute to setting a Vietnamese record, but also honor the specialty fruit of Binh Minh town.
The event aims to promote the image and enhance the value of Binh Minh pomelo on the Vietnamese culinary map, while creating opportunities for exchange and connection between growers, businesses and tourists, promoting tourism associated with typical agricultural products.
